Our Client is one of the most recognized and trusted brands of health information and the leading provider of health information services, serving consumers, physicians, healthcare professionals, employers and health plans through their public and private online portals and content solutions.  They have six health networks across consumer and professional markets and generate more than $800M in revenue.  Their consumer portals and mobile health applications provide engaging, relevant and credible health and wellness information, personalized health assessment tools and access to online communities.  They are the #1 most visited consumer health portal. 

Position:  Sales Executive Hospital   Position reports to Vice President Sales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell current and new advertising products including private and public online portals, mobile, content driven sponsored solutions to hospital market customers.  Leverage client’s online networks (300M visits) and over 10,000 offline readerships. 
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals of $1.8M.   Manage national territory. 
  • Develop the strategies needed to help clients make informed decisions through a consultative sales approach.  Create and manage project scope and timeline.
  • Utilize forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationships. Communicate client needs and expectations clearly across development teams.
  • Build relationships with media agency directors/planners and brand decision makers.
  • Meeting consistently with internal and external teams to manage timelines, assets, progress, and client deliverables. 
  • Support Med Legal calls to ensure projects are approved by the client. 
  • Work with other departments to streamline processes to allow for efficient timelines.
  • Responsible for project success on time and within budget.   

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of advertising sales experience with a combination of digital, agency, and healthcare experience.  Experience can be a combination of account management and project management.  CPG can be a substitute for healthcare. 
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota.  Should have consistently attained quota in previous roles.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and should be results driven.
  • Healthcare vertical experience required although CPG may be considered. 
  • Knowledge of internet technologies.
  • Knowledge of marketing-related creative process a plus.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of advertising sales experience (consumer preferred). 
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
