Position:  Sales Director,  Career Match

Job Summary:

The Sales Director will sell a new recruiting services offering to large health system customers.  The client will provide an outsource recruiting service targeting resident physicians for placement into health system customers.   The Sales Director role will work in concert with sales leadership, marketing, and lead generation to target new prospect accounts.  Initial focus is Texas, California, and Florida.   Must be comfortable addressing the business needs of and presenting to senior leaders (VP of Human Resources, Head of Physician Recruitment, C-Suite.), writing proposals, and acting as a consultative advisor.  Focus is Top Tier hospital systems: HCA, Sharp, Baylor Scott &White, Kaiser Permanente, etc. 


Responsibilities:


  • Generate new customer leads and close business through personal networking and solutions selling. 
  • Land Top Tier hospital system clients in targeted territory. 
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets for assigned market.  
  • Manage, analyze, and develop new and recurring business.  Ensure client satisfaction and deliver the right solutions to the right clients. 
  • Work with SVP Business Development on target account list. 
  • Complete demonstrations of platform and physician recruitment services.  Prepare proposals and facilitate closing process through effective communications. 
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, and maintain on going client engagement. 

Requirements:

  • 10 or more years as a sales professional with experience selling physician recruitment services in IDNS.  Must have existing customer relationships in targeted territory.  
  • Documented track record of meeting goals.  
  • Strong business and communication skills. Active listener. Proven ability to discus business issues and develop clients solutions. Self motivated and organized.  Proven ability to establish and develop long lasting relationships. 
  • Ideal candidate will combine the best elements of “Hunting” and “Farming” sales styles. 
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.  Requires ongoing face to face client meetings. 



Education and Typical Years of Experience:

  • 10 years or more years of healthcare recruiting experience (physician recruitment preferred).  
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
