Position: Sales Director 

Job Summary:

The Sales Director will sell their media and digital solutions to top tier pharmaceutical companies (biotech, medical device, diagnostics, surgical device).

The Sales Director role will work in concert with sales leadership in prospecting new and existing assigned accounts.

Must be comfortable addressing the business needs of and pitching to pharmaceutical Brand/Marketing Directors and Media Agency clients and writing proposals, and acting as a consultative advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customer leads and close business through personal networking and solutions selling.

  • Land and expand clients in critical regional pharmaceutical territory.

  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for your assigned accounts.

  • Manage, analyze, and develop new and recurring business. Ensure client satisfaction and deliver the right solutions

    to the right clients.

  • Develop strategic account plans and long term vision of account services.

  • Complete demonstrations and review potential solutions (wall board, email marketing, and digital solutions) with

    prospective clients. Prepare proposals and facilitate closing process through effective communications.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years as a sales professional with experience selling professional facing digital and media solutions into pharmaceutical and agency accounts. Knowledgeable of healthcare and pharmaceutical trends. Preferred agency client relationships ideally include CMI, Publicis, and FCB.

  • Documented track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.

  • Strong business and communication skills. Active listener. Proven ability to discus business issues and develop

    clients solutions. Self motivated and organized. Proven ability to establish and develop long lasting

    relationships.

  • Ideal candidate will combine the best elements of “Hunting” and “Farming” sales styles.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% or more and work from virtual home office.

Education and Typical Years of Experience:

  • 5 or more years selling into the pharmaceutical and agency media market.

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

Compensation:
  • Competitive base salary based on experience

  • Uncapped commission structure. Accelerator bonus for exceeding quota.
